Most Common Issues (All Models)

• Loss of suction / weak pickup: Empty dust cup fully; clean filters (washable foam/felt – air dry 24h); check for blockages in hose, wand, or brushroll.
• Brushroll not spinning: Turn power off; remove hair/debris from brushroll & bearings; check belt (if equipped) for wear; ensure brushroll button/lever is engaged.
• Vacuum turns off suddenly / short runtime (cordless): Empty dust cup; clean all filters; charge fully (4–5 hrs); battery may need replacement after 3–4 years.
• No power / won't turn on: Check charger connection & wall outlet; for corded models – inspect power cord; reset by unplugging 5 min.
• Noisy operation / rattling: Check for debris in brushroll or fan area; ensure all parts are clicked in securely; clean filters.
• Overheating / shuts off: Clear all airflow paths; let cool 45 min; avoid using on thick rugs if motor strains.

Cordless Models (Stratos, PowerDetect, Vertex, Detect Pro – 2023–2026)

• E6 / E error: Airflow blockage – clean filters, hose, wand, floorhead; check dust cup seal.
• Flashing lights / beeping: Usually low battery or full dust cup; refer to LED guide in manual.
• Self-cleaning brushroll stops: Hair wrap – use cleaning tool; run in Boost mode briefly.

Robot Models (IQ, Matrix, ION, AV/RV series)

• Error 2 / Obstruction: Clear cliff sensors, wheels, side brush, main brush; wipe sensors with dry cloth.
• Error 3 / 6 / 9 / 10: Wheel / bumper / drop sensor issue – clean sensors; flip over and spin wheels manually.
• Not charging / docking issues: Clean charging contacts on robot and dock; reposition dock away from direct light/sun.
• Error 21 / 23 / 24: Side brush or main brush stuck – remove and clean thoroughly.

Upright & Lift-Away Specific

• Hose blockage light on: Disconnect hose; run finger through to clear; check intake openings.
• Lift-Away not working: Ensure release button clicked; check electrical contacts clean.

Safety note: Always power off and unplug/ remove battery before cleaning filters, brushroll, or internal parts. Do not wash HEPA filters with soap – rinse only if specified.
