Assembly & Setup

Emptying & Cleaning the Dust Cup

Empty dust cup when full or after each use for optimal suction.

  1. Unplug vacuum.
  2. Press dust cup release button and lift cup away.
  3. Hold over trash can; press empty lever to open bottom lid.
  4. Close lid securely after emptying.
  5. Reinstall dust cup until it clicks.

WARNING! Always unplug before emptying. Do not use water on dust cup.

Maintenance & Filter Care

Regular maintenance ensures peak performance.

  1. Check and clean filters monthly: Remove foam and felt filters from dust cup; tap gently to remove dust.
  2. Wash filters every 3 months: Rinse with cold water only; air dry completely for 24 hours before reinstalling.
  3. Clear brushrolls: Remove debris wrapped around brushrolls with scissors (unplug first).
  4. Inspect hose and attachments for clogs.
