Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assemble on a flat, stable surface.

  1. Attach handle: Insert handle into top of vacuum body until it clicks.
  2. Attach wand: Insert wand into handle until it locks.
  3. Attach floor nozzle: Connect nozzle to wand or lift-away pod.
  4. Install filters: Ensure HEPA and pre-motor filters are in place.
  5. Plug into AC power outlet.

WARNING! Ensure vacuum is unplugged during assembly. Handle with care to avoid pinching fingers.

First-Time Use

Before first use, ensure all filters are installed and dust cup is empty.

  1. Select surface setting: Use brush roll on for carpets; off for hard floors.
  2. Adjust suction: Use power switch for standard or max suction.
  3. Use lift-away: Press release button to detach pod for stairs or furniture.
  4. Attach tools: Connect crevice or upholstery tool as needed.

CAUTION! Do not vacuum large objects, liquids, or hot ashes. Keep hair and loose clothing away from brush roll.

Using Attachments

Attachments store on back of vacuum. To use:

  1. Detach wand: Press handle release button.
  2. Select tool: Crevice for tight spaces; upholstery for furniture; dusting brush for surfaces.
  3. Attach to wand: Insert until click is heard.
  4. Clean: Use powered suction for debris removal.

Tip: For pet hair, use pet multi-tool with brush roll engaged.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Unplug vacuum before any maintenance.
  2. Check brush roll: Remove debris wrapped around brush roll monthly.
  3. Inspect hose and wand: Clear any blockages.
  4. Wipe exterior: Use dry cloth to clean vacuum body.

WARNING! Do not use water on electrical parts. Ensure vacuum is completely dry before use.

Emptying the Dust Cup

Empty dust cup when full or after each use.

  1. Press dust cup release button at top of cup.
  2. Hold over trash can; press bottom door release to open.
  3. Tap gently to remove debris.
  4. Close door securely until click is heard.
  5. Reattach dust cup to vacuum.

CAUTION! Empty dust cup outdoors if possible to minimize allergen exposure.

Filter Care

Filters require regular cleaning for maximum efficiency.

  1. HEPA filter: Remove and rinse under cold water every 3 months. Air dry for 24 hours.
  2. Pre-motor foam and felt filters: Rinse monthly; air dry completely.
  3. Reinstall filters only when completely dry.

Note: Do not use vacuum without filters installed.
