Cleaning Modes

Optimize cleaning for different surfaces.

  1. Carpet Mode: Use for medium to high-pile carpets. Engages brushroll and full suction power.
  2. Hard Floor Mode: Use for wood, tile, or laminate. Disengages brushroll to prevent scattering debris.
  3. Area Rug Mode: Use for delicate rugs or low-pile carpets. Provides medium suction with gentle brushroll action.
  4. Switch modes using the selector on the handle while the vacuum is running.
  5. For best results, make slow, overlapping passes in the direction of the floor grain or carpet fibers.

WARNING! Do not use the brushroll on hard floors as it may cause damage. Always turn off the vacuum before switching modes.

UV-C Sanitizing Feature

The UV-C light helps sanitize surfaces as you clean.

  1. Ensure the vacuum head is in contact with the floor surface.
  2. Press the UV button to activate the blue UV-C light.
  3. Move the vacuum slowly over the area to allow the light to sanitize effectively.
  4. For optimal sanitization, make multiple passes over the same area.
  5. The UV-C light will automatically turn off if the vacuum head is lifted off the floor.

Important: The UV-C light is a supplement to cleaning, not a replacement for regular disinfecting. Avoid direct eye exposure.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures peak performance and longevity.

  1. Empty the Dust Cup: Press the release button and empty after each use or when full.
  2. Clean the Filters: Rinse the HEPA filter under cold water every 3 months. Allow to dry completely for 24 hours before reinstalling.
  3. Check the Brushroll: Regularly remove hair and debris wrapped around the brushroll. Use scissors if necessary.
  4. Inspect the UV-C Light: Wipe the light cover with a dry cloth. Do not use liquids.
  5. Store Properly: Wrap the cord around the hooks and store in a cool, dry place.
