Assembly & Setup

Unpack all parts from the box and inspect for damage.

  1. Attach the wand: Insert the metal wand into the socket on the vacuum body until it clicks.
  2. Attach the hose: Connect the hose end to the port on the front of the vacuum body.
  3. Attach the floor nozzle: Slide the floor nozzle onto the end of the wand until it clicks into place.
  4. Store accessories: Clip the crevice tool, upholstery tool, and dusting brush onto the provided storage clips on the vacuum body or wand.
  5. Plug into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure the vacuum is unplugged during assembly. Do not force parts together.

First-Time Use

Before first use, ensure all filters are installed correctly and the dust cup is empty.

  1. Select cleaning mode: Use the Carpet/Hard Floor switch. Set to "Carpet" for rugs and carpets, "Hard Floor" for tile, wood, or laminate.
  2. Power on: Plug in the vacuum, then press the ON/OFF switch.
  3. Begin vacuuming: Push the vacuum forward and back in slow, overlapping strokes.
  4. Use Lift-Away mode: Press the Lift-Away release button to detach the pod for cleaning stairs, furniture, or curtains.
  5. Use attachments: Detach the wand and connect desired tools directly to the hose.

CAUTION! Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and feet away from openings and moving parts.

Cleaning Modes & Attachments

Upright Mode: For cleaning large carpeted or hard floor areas. Lift-Away Mode: Detach the pod to clean stairs, under furniture, ceilings, and other above-floor surfaces. Handheld Mode: Remove the pod and attach tools directly to the hose for spot cleaning.

  1. Crevice Tool: For tight spaces like between cushions, along baseboards, and in car interiors.
  2. Upholstery Tool: For gentle cleaning of sofas, chairs, mattresses, and curtains.
  3. Dusting Brush: For delicate surfaces like lampshades, blinds, shelves, and electronics.

Tip: For best results on carpets, make several slow passes over heavily soiled areas.

Maintenance & Care

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Check for blockages: If suction power decreases, unplug and check hose, wand, and nozzle for clogs.
  2. Inspect brushroll: Regularly remove hair and string wrapped around the brushroll. Unplug, then use scissors or the provided cleaning tool to cut and remove debris.
  3. Inspect wheels and floor nozzle: Remove any tangled fibers or debris.
  4. Wipe exterior: Use a dry or damp cloth to clean the vacuum body. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

WARNING! Always unplug the vacuum before performing any maintenance or checking for blockages.

Emptying the Dust Cup

Empty the dust cup when it reaches the "MAX" fill line.

  1. Unplug the vacuum.
  2. Press the Dust Cup Release button and lift the cup away from the body.
  3. Hold the dust cup over a trash can. Press the bottom release latch to open the door, allowing debris to fall out.
  4. Close the door securely until it clicks.
  5. Reinsert the dust cup into the vacuum body until it clicks into place.

CAUTION! Empty dust cup outdoors or in a well-ventilated area if you have allergies. Avoid inhaling dust.

Filter Cleaning

The HEPA filter and pre-motor filter should be rinsed every 3 months under normal use, or more often if vacuuming fine dust.

  1. Unplug the vacuum and remove the dust cup.
  2. Remove the HEPA filter: Twist the filter counterclockwise and pull it out from the top of the dust cup assembly.
  3. Remove the pre-motor filter: Located inside the compartment behind the dust cup. Pull it straight out.
  4. Rinse both filters under lukewarm tap water until the water runs clear. Do not use soap.
  5. Allow filters to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling.
  6. Reinstall the dry filters and dust cup.

WARNING! Never operate the vacuum without both filters installed and completely dry.
