Assembly & Setup

Unpack all parts from the box. Ensure all components are present.

  1. Attach the wand: Insert the wand into the socket on the vacuum body until it clicks.
  2. Attach the hose: Connect the hose end to the port on the front of the vacuum.
  3. Attach the floorhead: Align the floorhead with the wand and push until it clicks into place.
  4. Install attachments: Store the crevice tool, dusting brush, upholstery tool, and motorized pet tool in the caddy.
  5. Plug into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure the vacuum is unplugged during assembly. Handle with care to avoid pinching fingers.

First-Time Use

Before first use, ensure all filters are installed correctly.

  1. Check filters: Ensure the HEPA filter and foam filter are properly seated in the dust cup.
  2. Select mode: For floor cleaning, ensure the floorhead is attached. For above-floor cleaning, press the Lift-Away release button.
  3. Adjust settings: Use the Power/Fins switch to select the appropriate suction level for your floor type.
  4. Begin vacuuming: Press the power foot pedal to turn on the vacuum.

CAUTION! Do not vacuum large objects, liquids, or hot ashes. Keep hair, loose clothing, and fingers away from brush rolls.

Using Attachments

For above-floor cleaning, detach the Lift-Away pod or use the hose directly.

  1. Detach the pod: Press the Lift-Away release button and lift the pod from the vacuum base.
  2. Select an attachment: Press the release button on the handle to remove the current tool and insert the desired attachment (e.g., Motorized Pet Tool).
  3. Turn on: Press the power button on the handle. For the Motorized Pet Tool, ensure it is connected to the pod.
  4. Clean: Guide the tool over the surface. The motorized brush will activate automatically.

Tip: Use the crevice tool for edges and corners, the dusting brush for shelves and blinds, and the upholstery tool for furniture.

Cleaning Modes

The vacuum operates in two primary modes.

  1. Upright Mode: For whole-floor cleaning. The floorhead is attached. Use the foot pedal to power on/off and adjust settings with the Power/Fins switch.
  2. Lift-Away Mode: For portable cleaning of stairs, furniture, and above-floor areas. Detach the pod. Use the handle power button and hose with attachments.
  3. Handheld Mode: For quick clean-ups. Remove the pod from the Lift-Away mode and use without the wand for spot cleaning.

WARNING! Always turn off and unplug the vacuum before changing modes or attachments.

Maintenance & Care

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Empty Dust Cup: Press the release button and empty the cup after each use or when full. Do not overfill.
  2. Clean Filters: Rinse the HEPA filter and foam filter with cold water every month. Let them air dry for at least 24 hours before reinstalling.
  3. Check for Blockages: Regularly inspect the hose, wand, floorhead, and attachments for clogs.
  4. Clean Brush Rolls: Use scissors to carefully cut away hair and fibers wrapped around the brush rolls. Ensure the vacuum is unplugged.
  5. Inspect Belts: Check the drive belt in the floorhead for wear or damage periodically.

CAUTION! Never use the vacuum without all filters installed and completely dry. Do not immerse any part of the vacuum in water.
