Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Assemble before first use.

  1. Insert Wand: Align wand with vacuum body until it clicks into place.
  2. Attach Handle: Slide handle onto top of wand and secure.
  3. Connect Power Cord: Plug cord into vacuum inlet and then into a 120V AC outlet.
  4. Attach Cleaning Tool: Slide desired floor nozzle or attachment onto wand end until secure.

WARNING! Ensure vacuum is unplugged during assembly. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and feet away from openings.

First-Time Use

Plug in vacuum; select appropriate cleaning mode.

  1. Select Surface Mode: Use Mode Selector for Hard Floor or Carpet.
  2. Power On: Press Power Button on handle; LED lights will illuminate.
  3. Begin Cleaning: Push vacuum forward and back in slow, overlapping strokes.

CAUTION! Do not vacuum up large objects, liquids, or hot ashes. Do not use on wet surfaces.

Indicator Lights: LED headlights activate when vacuum is on. Check Filter light illuminates when filter needs cleaning.

Settings: Hard Floor mode reduces brushroll speed. Carpet mode increases suction and brushroll agitation. Brushroll can be turned off for delicate area rugs or to use suction-only on hard floors.

Cleaning Modes & Attachments

Use appropriate mode and tool for each surface.

  1. Hard Floors: Select Hard Floor mode. Use DuoClean nozzle.
  2. Carpets & Rugs: Select Carpet mode. For delicate rugs, turn brushroll off.
  3. Above-Floor Cleaning: Detach wand, attach crevice tool for tight spaces, dusting brush for shelves, or upholstery tool for furniture.
  4. Under Furniture: LED headlights automatically illuminate dark areas.

Tip: Empty dust cup when it reaches the MAX fill line for optimal performance.

Emptying the Dust Cup

Empty dust cup after each use or when full.

  1. Turn off and unplug vacuum.
  2. Hold vacuum over trash can.
  3. Press Empty-Release Button; bottom lid opens to release debris.
  4. Close lid firmly until it clicks.
  5. For stuck debris, remove dust cup by pressing release button and lifting off.

WARNING! Always unplug vacuum before emptying dust cup. Do not use vacuum without dust cup and filters in place.

Filter Maintenance

Maintain filters for peak performance and suction.

  1. Pre-Motor Foam Filter: Rinse with cold water every month. Air dry for 24 hours before reinstalling.
  2. HEPA Filter: Tap gently to remove dust every 3 months. Replace every 2-3 years or as needed.
  3. Check Filter Light: If light illuminates, check and clean filters.

CAUTION! Filters must be completely dry before reinstallation. Do not use vacuum without filters.

Care & Storage

Unplug before cleaning or maintenance. Wipe exterior with dry cloth. Store in a dry place.

Brushroll Maintenance: Regularly remove hair and fibers wrapped around brushroll. Use scissors to cut and remove debris.

CAUTION! Do not immerse vacuum in water or use abrasive cleaners. Store cord loosely coiled.
