Assembly & Setup

  1. Attach the Charging Dock: Plug the power adapter into an outlet, then place the dock on a flat surface or mount it on the wall using included screws.
  2. Insert the Filter: Remove the dust cup by pressing the release button. Insert the washable filter into the top of the vacuum body, then reattach the dust cup.
  3. Attach Tools: Press the desired tool (Motorized Pet Hair Tool or Crevice Tool) onto the vacuum nozzle until it clicks into place.
  4. Place on Charger: Set the vacuum onto the charging dock to begin initial charge.

WARNING! Do not use the vacuum if any parts are damaged. Keep small parts away from children.

First-Time Charging

Fully charge the vacuum before first use.

  1. Place the vacuum on the charging dock. Ensure the charging contacts align.

Using Attachments

Select the appropriate tool for the cleaning task.

  1. Motorized Pet Hair Tool: Ideal for furniture, car interiors, and stairs. The rotating brushroll agitates and lifts stubborn pet hair. Press onto nozzle until it clicks.
  2. Crevice Tool: For edges, corners, window tracks, and between furniture cushions. Slide onto nozzle.
  3. To switch tools, pull firmly to detach the current tool, then press the new tool into place.

Tip: Turn the vacuum OFF before changing attachments. Clear hair and debris from the brushroll of the pet tool regularly.

Emptying the Dust Cup

Empty the dust cup after each use or when it reaches the MAX fill line.

  1. Turn the vacuum OFF.
  2. Hold the vacuum over a trash can.
  3. Press the Dust Cup Release Button and pull the dust cup away from the body.
  4. Open the bottom lid of the dust cup to empty contents.
  5. Close the lid and snap the dust cup back onto the vacuum until it clicks.

WARNING! Do not operate the vacuum with a full dust cup, as it reduces suction and can overheat the motor.

CAUTION! Always unplug the charger and ensure the vacuum is OFF before performing any maintenance.

Battery & Power

The lithium-ion battery is not user-replaceable. For battery service, contact Shark Customer Service.

To maximize battery life:

  1. Fully charge before first use.
  2. Store in a cool, dry place.
  3. Avoid completely draining the battery; recharge when the indicator turns red.
  4. Do not expose the vacuum or charger to extreme temperatures.

If the vacuum will not be used for an extended period, store it with a 50% charge.
