Assembly & Setup

Emptying & Cleaning the Dust Cup

Empty dust cup when full or after each use.

  1. Turn off and unplug vacuum.
  2. Press dust cup release button and remove cup.
  3. Hold over trash can, press bottom latch to open door and empty contents.
  4. Close door securely and reattach dust cup until it clicks.
  5. Wipe interior with dry cloth if needed.

WARNING! Do not use water or liquids to clean dust cup. Ensure door is fully closed before use.

Filter Maintenance

Clean filters every 3 months for optimal performance.

  1. Unplug vacuum. Remove dust cup.
  2. Remove pre-motor foam and felt filters from their housing.
  3. Tap gently to remove dust. Rinse with cold water only; air dry for 24 hours completely.
  4. Remove HEPA filter from back of vacuum. Tap to clean; do not wash.
  5. Reinstall all filters only when completely dry.

CAUTION! Never operate vacuum without filters. Never use wet filters.

Care & Storage

Unplug before cleaning or maintenance. Store in a cool, dry place.

Clean exterior with a dry cloth. Check brushroll for tangled hair or debris regularly. Wrap cord around cord hooks. Store attachments on accessory holder.
