Assembly & Setup

Unpack all parts from the box. Ensure all components are present and undamaged.

  1. Attach the handle: Insert the handle into the top of the vacuum body until it clicks into place.
  2. Connect the hose: Attach the hose end to the port on the front of the vacuum.
  3. Install the wand: Insert the wand into the hose grip until secure.
  4. Attach floor nozzle: Slide the nozzle onto the wand until it clicks.
  5. Plug into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure the vacuum is unplugged during assembly. Keep fingers clear of moving parts.

First-Time Use

Before first use, perform a quick test to ensure all functions work properly.

  1. Plug in the vacuum and press the power switch to ON.
  2. Test the brushroll: Engage and disengage using the brushroll control button.
  3. Test Lift-Away mode: Press the release button to detach the canister.
  4. Adjust height: Set the floor nozzle to the appropriate setting for your floor type.
  5. Empty the dust cup after initial use to clear any packaging debris.

CAUTION! Do not vacuum large objects, liquids, or hot ashes. Keep hair and loose clothing away from brushroll.

Using Attachments

For above-floor cleaning, detach the floor nozzle and use the hose with attachments.

  1. Detach floor nozzle: Press the release button on the wand.
  2. Select attachment: Crevice tool for tight spaces; dusting brush for surfaces; pet tool for upholstery.
  3. Attach to hose or wand: Click into place.
  4. Clean: Use smooth, steady strokes.
  5. Return to upright: Reattach floor nozzle when done.

Tip: Store attachments in the built-in caddy for easy access.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures peak performance. Unplug before any maintenance.

  1. Check brushroll: Monthly, remove debris wrapped around brushroll.
  2. Inspect hose and wand: Clear any blockages.
  3. Wipe exterior: Use a dry cloth to clean body and nozzle.
  4. Store properly: Wrap cord around cord hooks; store upright in a dry place.

WARNING! Do not use water or cleaners on electrical parts. Do not immerse vacuum in liquid.

Emptying the Dust Cup

Empty dust cup when it reaches the MAX fill line or after each use for best suction.

  1. Unplug the vacuum.
  2. Press the dust cup release button and lift cup away.
  3. Hold over trash can; press the bottom release latch to open door.
  4. Tap gently to empty contents.
  5. Close door and reattach until it clicks.

CAUTION! Empty dust cup outdoors if possible to minimize dust exposure. Do not overfill.

Filter Care

The HEPA filter should be rinsed every 3 months under normal use.

  1. Unplug vacuum and remove dust cup.
  2. Open filter compartment on the back of the dust cup.
  3. Remove the foam and felt filters.
  4. Rinse with cold water only; no detergents.
  5. Air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling.

Note: Do not operate vacuum without dry filters installed. Replace filters annually or as needed.
