Assembly & Setup

Unpack all parts from the box and inspect for damage.

1. Attach the Handle: Align the handle with the body and push down until it clicks securely into place.
2. Connect the Hose: Insert the hose end into the port on the front of the vacuum until it locks.
3. Install the Wand: If using the wand for above-floor cleaning, attach it to the hose and then click the desired attachment onto the wand's end.
4. Check Filters: Ensure the HEPA filter and pre-motor filter are correctly seated in their compartments.

WARNING! Do not plug in the vacuum until assembly is complete. Keep fingers and loose clothing away from the brush roll during assembly and use.

First-Time Use

Before first use, ensure the vacuum is fully assembled and all packaging materials are removed.

1. Power On: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V outlet. Press the power foot pedal to turn on the vacuum.
2. Select Surface Mode: Use the switch on the handle to select "Hard Floor" or "Carpet" based on your cleaning surface.
3. Adjust Height (if applicable): Some models have an automatic height adjustment. Ensure the vacuum head glides smoothly.
4. Test UV Mode: On a non-porous, hard floor, press the UV button. A blue light indicates the UV-C lamp is active. The light will only activate when the cleaning head is flat on the surface.
5. Detach for Above-Floor Cleaning: Press the release button to detach the pod. Connect the hose and your chosen attachment.

CAUTION! The UV-C light is harmful to eyes and skin. Never look directly at the light. Do not use the UV mode on rugs, carpets, or uneven surfaces where the head does not lie flat.

Controls and Settings

Using Attachments

1. Activation: The UV button will only light up when the cleaning head is lying completely flat on a hard, even surface (e.g., tile, sealed hardwood, laminate).
2. Usage: Press the UV button. The blue light indicates it's on. Move the vacuum slowly back and forth over the area you wish to sanitize.
3. Exposure Time: For best results, move at a pace of approximately 1 foot per second to ensure the surface receives adequate UV exposure.
4. Deactivation: The light turns off automatically when you lift the vacuum head, turn off the power, or press the UV button again.

WARNING! UV-C LIGHT HAZARD. Never use the UV mode on carpets, rugs, or uneven surfaces. Never look directly at the UV light or use it to sanitize skin. Keep children and pets away from the light during operation.

Care & Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

1. Empty Dust Cup: Press the release button and remove the dust cup. Empty contents into trash. Do not overfill.
2. Clean Filters:
   • Pre-Motor Foam Filter: Rinse with cold water every month. Air dry for 24 hours COMPLETELY before reinstalling.
   • HEPA Filter: Tap gently to remove dust every 3 months. Replace once per year or as needed.
3. Clear Brush Roll: Turn off and unplug vacuum. Use scissors or the cleaning tool (if provided) to cut and remove hair, strings, and debris wrapped around the brush roll.
4. Check for Blockages: If suction is weak, check the hose, wand, attachments, and air pathways for clogs.
5. Clean Exterior: Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse in water or use abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Always unplug the vacuum before performing any maintenance. Never use the vacuum without all filters installed and completely dry.
