Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assemble before first use.

  1. Attach the handle: Insert the handle into the upright body until it clicks securely into place.
  2. Connect the hose: Attach the hose end to the port on the front of the vacuum body.
  3. Install the wand: Insert the wand into the hose grip until it locks.
  4. Attach floor nozzle: Ensure the nozzle is properly clicked onto the upright body.
  5. Plug into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure vacuum is unplugged during assembly. Keep fingers away from moving parts.

First-Time Use

Before cleaning, perform a quick setup check.

  1. Check filters: Ensure both foam and felt filters are installed correctly in the dust cup.

  3. Select mode: For upright cleaning, ensure floor nozzle is attached. For above-floor cleaning, detach the Lift-Away pod.

Dust Cup Release: Press button to remove dust cup for emptying.

Using Attachments

Attachments store on the pod or caddy. For above-floor cleaning.

  1. Detach Lift-Away pod: Press release button on upright body.
  2. Select attachment: Choose Pet Multi-Tool for pet hair, Crevice Tool for tight spaces, Dusting Brush for surfaces.
  3. Connect: Insert attachment into the end of the wand or directly into the hose grip.
  4. Clean: Turn power ON and move attachment over surface.

Tip: For high reach, fully extend the wand. Use the hose for flexibility.

Cleaning Modes

Two primary cleaning modes: Upright and Portable.

  1. Upright Floor Cleaning: Vacuum remains in full upright assembly. Ideal for large carpeted or hard floor areas.
  2. Lift-Away Portable Cleaning: Pod detaches for cleaning stairs, under furniture, ceilings, and auto interiors.
  3. Brushroll Settings: ON for carpets (agitates fibers), OFF for hard floors (suction only).
  4. Suction Control: Adjust on handle for delicate area rugs to prevent bunching.

Maintenance & Care

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Empty Dust Cup: Press release button, remove cup, empty into trash. Do not overfill.
  2. Clean Filters: Rinse foam and felt filters with water monthly. Air dry completely for 24 hours before reinstalling.
  3. Check Brushroll: Regularly remove hair and debris wrapped around brushroll. Turn power OFF and use scissors if needed.
  4. Inspect Hose & Nozzle: Clear any blockages. Ensure air path is open.
  5. Store Properly: Wrap cord around cord hooks. Store attachments in caddy.
