Using Attachments

For above-floor cleaning, detach Lift-Away pod or use hose directly.

  2. Connect tool: Attach desired tool to end of wand or hose.
  3. Select suction: Adjust suction control on handle as needed.

Cleaning Modes

Three floor settings optimize cleaning for different surfaces.

  1. Carpet Mode: Use for medium to high-pile carpets. Brushroll spins at high speed.
  2. Hard Floor Mode: Use for wood, tile, vinyl. Brushroll slows to prevent scattering debris.
  3. Delicate Rug Mode: Use for fragile rugs or fringes. Brushroll turns off; suction only.
  4. To switch modes: Turn dial on floor nozzle while vacuum is off.
  5. Brushroll on/off: Use switch on floor nozzle to disable brushroll for area rugs.

WARNING! Do not use Delicate Rug mode on carpets; it may reduce cleaning performance.

Maintenance & Care

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

Empty dust cup: Press release button and empty when full. Clean filters: Wash foam and felt filters every 3 months (air dry completely). Check brushroll: Remove hair and debris from brushroll monthly. Inspect hose and wand: Clear clogs with long object if suction decreases. Store properly: Wrap cord around cord hooks; store in dry area.

CAUTION! Unplug vacuum before maintenance. Do not use damaged filters or brushroll.
