Assembly & Setup

Unpack all parts and inspect contents. Assemble on a flat, stable surface.

  1. Attach the wand: Insert the metal wand into the socket on the vacuum body until it clicks.

  3. Install floor nozzle: Align the nozzle with the wand or Lift-Away pod and push until it locks.

First-Time Use

  4. Turn on the vacuum and begin cleaning.

Tip: For high reach, fully extend the metal wand.

Cleaning Modes

The NV356 offers two primary cleaning modes.

  1. Upright Mode: For floor cleaning. Ensure the floor selector is set correctly.
  2. Lift-Away Mode: Press the release button to detach the pod. Carry it to clean stairs, curtains, ceilings, or furniture.
  3. Above-Floor Mode: Use the hose and attachments with the pod detached or while in upright mode.

WARNING! Always turn off the vacuum before changing modes or attachments.

Maintenance & Care

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Empty Dust Cup: Empty after each use or when full.
  2. Clean Filters: Rinse HEPA filter and foam/felt filters every 3 months (air dry completely).
