First-Time Use

Cleaning Modes

The V1310RS offers three primary cleaning modes.

Emptying the Dust Cup: Press the release button, remove the dust cup, and empty contents into a trash bin. Do not overfill.

Cleaning the Filters:

  1. Pre-Motor Foam Filter: Rinse with cold water every month. Let air dry for 24 hours completely before reinstalling.
  2. HEPA Filter: Gently tap to remove loose dust every 3 months. Replace every 12-18 months under normal use.

Clearing Brushroll Clogs: Turn vacuum off and unplug. Use scissors to carefully cut and remove hair, strings, or fibers wrapped around the brushroll.
