Assembly & Setup

Cleaning Modes

Three main cleaning modes: Upright carpet cleaning, Upright hard floor cleaning, Lift-Away portable cleaning.

  1. Upright carpet: Set floor selector to carpet, adjust height, power on with brushroll engaged.
  2. Upright hard floor: Set floor selector to hard floor, brushroll off to prevent scattering debris.
  3. Lift-Away mode: Detach canister, connect hose and wand, attach tool for above-floor cleaning.
  4. Stairs: Use Lift-Away mode with upholstery tool or crevice tool.
  5. Auto interiors: Use Lift-Away mode with appropriate attachments.

WARNING! Do not use vacuum to pick up sharp objects, liquids, or flammable materials.

Maintenance & Care

  1. Empty dust cup: Press release button, remove cup, empty into trash.
  2. Clean filters: Wash HEPA and pre-motor filters every 3 months (air dry completely).
  3. Check brushroll: Remove debris wrapped around brushroll regularly.
