Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assemble before first use.

  1. Attach the handle: Insert handle into top of vacuum body until it clicks into place.
  2. Install the wand: Insert wand into hose socket until secure.
  3. Attach floor nozzle: Connect wand to floor nozzle; ensure it locks.
  4. Install filters: Place foam and felt filters into dust cup; insert HEPA filter in back.
  5. Plug into electrical outlet.

WARNING! Ensure vacuum is unplugged during assembly. Handle with care to avoid pinching.

First-Time Use

Plug in vacuum; turn power switch to ON.

  1. Select floor setting: Use floor selector switch (CARPET for carpets, HARD FLOOR for hard surfaces).
  2. Adjust height: For carpets, set appropriate height setting on nozzle.
  3. Begin vacuuming: Push vacuum forward and back in overlapping strokes.
  4. Empty dust cup: Press release button to remove and empty when full.

CAUTION! Keep hair, loose clothing, and fingers away from brushroll. Do not vacuum wet surfaces.

Using Attachments

For above-floor cleaning: stairs, upholstery, ceilings, etc.

  1. Detach wand: Press wand release pedal; pull wand out.
  2. Attach tool: Insert desired tool (crevice, dusting brush) into end of wand or hose.
  3. Use Lift-Away mode: Detach pod for handheld cleaning.
  4. Return tools: Store on-board when finished.

Tip: For best suction, ensure filters are clean and dust cup is empty.

Lift-Away Mode

Allows portable cleaning without moving entire vacuum.

  1. Detach pod: Press release buttons on sides of vacuum; lift pod away from floor nozzle.
  2. Attach hose: Hose remains connected to pod; use with wand and tools.
  3. Clean above floor: Carry pod to clean stairs, furniture, or tight spaces.
  4. Reattach: Place pod back onto floor nozzle until it clicks.

WARNING! Brushroll automatically stops in Lift-Away mode. Do not use on carpets in this mode.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Empty dust cup: Press release button; empty into trash; reinstall.
  2. Clean brushroll: Remove floor nozzle; clear hair and debris from brushroll.
  3. Check for blockages: Inspect hose, wand, and nozzle for obstructions.
  4. Inspect filters: Clean or replace as needed (see Filter Care).

CAUTION! Unplug vacuum before performing any maintenance.

Filter Care

Filters require regular cleaning for maximum suction.

Foam and Felt Filters: Rinse with cold water every month; air dry completely for 24 hours before reinstalling. HEPA Filter: Tap gently to remove dust; replace every 12-18 months or as needed. Do not wash HEPA filter.

Note: Never operate vacuum without all filters properly installed.
